About The Store

Our Morris Place Barber Shop salon was opened in July 2021. David’s cousin Stef from Lash Up found this location as she was looking to expand her business and move it out of her family home. We have created a multi-use location with a coffee shop, barber, and beauty salon.

My name is Carmelo, I was born in Italy. I have been working for Davilia for 8 Years and I have been a barber 39 Years. My favorite part of my job is everything, I love my job and every day I wake up I love my job more than the day before.

All our haircuts are finished with a straight-razor shave around the neckline and ears and a thorough dry of to remove loose hair. Once finished, you’ll walk out the door with your choice of styling and lookin’ sharp!

Frequently Ask Questions (Faqs)

Our barber Morris Place offers a walk-in service, so you rock up, and we will do our best to look after you. Please be mindful of closing times as if you rock up late, we may not be able to squeeze you in. We recommend you rock up at least an hour before closing time. In addition, we also have a virtual queuing system in our salons; please see below for more details about our Virtual Queue.

Each of our barbers has a Virtual Queue System. You can check in when you arrive using the Queuing Tablet. Checking in secures your spot in the queue and gives you an estimated waiting time. You are free to leave the salon, and we ask that you come back 5-10 minutes before the estimated time.
To join the queue remotely, go to our Davilia website and select ‘Join Queue’ from our homepage, pick the location you want to visit, and join. This will secure your spot in our queue and gives you an estimated waiting time. Please arrive at the salon 5-10 minutes before your estimated wait time.

If we call out your name and you are not there, we call out the next name in the queue. Your name will then be called out again by the next available stylist. We will continue to do this for an hour and then delete you from our barbers queue.

At barbers Morris Place, we are open: Mon-Fri: 8am – 5:30pm / Sat : 8am – 3pm / Sun : Closed / Closed All Public Holidays.

Prices start from $26 for men and from $28 for little lads. Check out our complete price list online, as our services may vary depending on which barber shop you visit.

We love doing face shaves at our barber Morris Place. You can sit back and relax; having a face shave is an absolute treat, leaving you feeling smooth and refreshed. Our men-u face shave includes a mini facial after the shave is performed – we guarantee your skin has never felt better after a shave with this service!
Yes, we do. We have two options at our Morris Place barber for grey hair – either we subtly blend the grey back so it looks natural, or we can do 100% coverage. We recommend starting with a blend and working towards 100% coverage based on your input over a few colour services. We also lighten hair-from highlights to foils to full head.
Definitely! What could be a better present than giving someone a barber experience that will make them feel fabulous and look fantastic? Vouchers are available for most of our services. Call us, pop into Morris Place barber, or go to one of our other barber shops to learn how to obtain a gift voucher.

The short answer is yes; however, hairdressing is an alternative skill set to barbering. Most of our team at Morris Place barber are trained and qualified as a barber, but David, our founder and a few of our seniors, are also qualified hairdressers and have many years of experience in both barbering and hairdressing. We want you to be happy with your cut; therefore, we ask that you discuss with your Davilia barber Morris Place members about their confidence and experience in cutting female hair. If they do not believe they are the right person for the job, they will be able to recommend the person.
Our Morris Place barber shop accepts both cash and card, and all of our barbers are trained in processing payments to make our service more efficient.
